I feel so lucky to be able to:
1. Photograph subjects that matter to me in my chosen style
2. Use my photos to promote issues and businesses I care deeply about
3. Have that work mean something to other people!
I was honored to be featured in the Portland Press Herald's Source section this Sunday in a lovely interview by local food and farm guru Mary Pols. Gregory Rec met me at the Maine Audubon at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth to snag a rare photo of me last week. It's nice to be on the other side of the lens, sometimes, too! The article featured this photo of me, as well as my photo of Jan Goranson's hands holding peaches from her tree last August. I got to talk to Mary about how I went from a History student studying Hindi to a now full-time farm photographer.
